What does it mean to “Follow Jesus”?
While this language is familiar to Christians everywhere, we want to be clear about what this call to be a disciple – or apprentice – to Jesus really means. This is more than a slogan or statement of belief. Following Jesus is an invitation to organize your lifestyle around Jesus and His Way.
What is the Gospel?
The Gospel is the good news that Jesus has accomplished everything necessary to rescue, redeem and restore us as people. We are brought to life by Jesus and for Jesus. To go deeper in the Gospel Story, watch this teaching.

Baptism
Baptism is a personal and public declaration that you are a follower of The Way of Jesus. After embracing the Gospel through faith & repentance, Baptism is a disciple's first step. If you're ready for baptism, visit our Baptism page HERE.
Apprenticeship to Jesus
We use the terms "disciple", "follower of Jesus", and "apprentice" interchangeably to describe our relationship to and journey with Jesus. Our church is a collection of people brought to life in Jesus, made spiritual family by Jesus, who together practice the Way of Jesus. Our church is organized around a vision of Spiritual Formation.
What is Spiritual Formation?
Spiritual Formation is the process of being transformed into the image of Jesus Christ for the glory of God and the good of others.
How does Spiritual Formation happen? Spiritual Formation happens when we partner our effort with the Holy Spirit on our journey toward Christlikeness.
Practices of Discipleship (or Spiritual Disciplines, Habits of Grace) are ways to orient our lifestyle around being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing the things Jesus did.
The practices do not make you a Christian. Faithfully investing in these practices, in partnership with the Holy Spirit will help form your inner and outer self into the image of Jesus. For more on this, watch or listen to Brad’s teaching on Practices of Discipleship.
